Marshfield grad Julia Urban shines for Central FC Select soccer team

The Central FC Select U18 women's soccer team went 8-1-1 in its first 10 games this summer, outscoring opponents 40-7 in that stretch. STEVENS POINT – Marshfield High School graduate Julia Urban is playing for the Central FC Select U18 women’s soccer club this summer.

Central FC had an 8-1-1 record entering a tournament in Stevens Point last weekend, outscoring opponents 40-7 in those 10 games, with Urban scoring 10 goals and assisting on 12 others.

Recently, the team, based out of Stevens Point, placed second at the Chicago International College Showcase Tournament in Lockport, Ill., going 20-1.
