WESTON – The Marshfield girls swim team won just one event in a 124-46 loss to defending Wisconsin Valley Conference champion D.C. Everest in a conference dual meet on Thursday at D.C. Everest High School.
Elizabeth Holbrook won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:15.07 to earn Marshfield’s lone varsity victory.
Marshfield’s 200 medley relay team of Sophie Koehn, Holbrook, Ryenne Zee and Megan Donahue was second in 2:03.16, as were Holbrook in the 200 IM (2:27.89), and Koehn in the 200 freestyle (2:11.61) and 100 backstroke (1:06.98).
On the JV side, Ana Paape had Marshfield’s only event winning, taking first in the 100 breaststroke in 1:32.35.
Marshfield will compete at the Chippewa Falls Invitational on Saturday and will host Stevens Point in a WVC meet Tuesday.
