STRATFORD – Teams in the Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League continued its season on Sunday, Jan. 8, with six games in two divisions.
Here is a look at the results:
A Division
*Prudential/Success Realty edged Nutz Deep II 60-59. Dan Dargenio had 24 points and Cain Trunkel added 23 for Prudential. Nate Lehman topped Nutz Deep II with 26 points.
*US Bancorp defeated Victory Apparel 62-59. Chris Murphy led US Bancorp with 23 points. Joe Estrict had 18 points for Victory Apparel.
B Division
*Chaps & Friends beat Marshfield Country Club 66-54. Keith Clater led Chaps with 17 points. Mike Prankratz had 21 points for MCC.
*Resource Recovery whipped Clyde’s Clubbers 56-33. Scott Schupe and Derrick Schmidt each had 17 points for Resource. Brandon Kaiser led Clyde’s with 10 points.
*Weiler’s C-Stores defeated Davis Auto 67-40. Robert Rogers had 16 points for Weiler’s.
*LJ’s Sport Zone knocked off Lob City 69-60. Josh VanSchoick led LJ’s with 24 points. Nick Stoflet had 21 points for Lob City.
