STRATFORD – Eight games in two divisions were held as the Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League continued its season Sunday night.
Here is a look at the results:
A Division
*Victory Apparel knocked off Smazal’s Hunters Choice 84-63. Joey Northup had 23 points for Victory Apparel. Zach Zettler led Smazal’s with 16 points.
*Nate Lehman had 32 points to lead Nutz Deep II to a 76-60 win over Wick’s Auto Body. Victor Castillo and Jared Seeman each had 16 points for Wick’s.
*Prudential/Success Realty blasted Financial Strategies 78-38. Cain Trunkel had 33 points for Prudentical. Bryan Weichelt scored 11 for Financial Strategies.
*US Bancorp edged Kafka Forestry 62-58. Chris Murphy topped US Bancorp with 20 points. Kafka was led by Dalton Lehman, who had 18 points.
B Division
*Resource Recovery slipped past Lob City 78-72. Barry Messman scored 33 points for Resource. Mike Rindfleisch had 24 points for Lob City.
*Marshfield Country Club whipped Davis Auto 78-58. Mike Pankratz scored 18 points for MCC. Kyle Davis had a game-high 27 points in the loss for Davis Auto.
*Chaps & Friends also won by 20, beating Weilers C-Stores 68-48. Ryan Williams scored 21 points for Chaps. Danny Bargender led Weiler’s with 16 points.
*Clyde’s Clubbers beat LJ’s Sport Zone 53-45. Brian Heusi (Clyde’s) and Alex Marth (LJ’s) each scored 18 points.
