SPENCER – Hunter Luepke tossed a complete-game four-hitter to lead the Spencer baseball team to a 5-1 win over Colby in a WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal Thursday at Spencer High School.
Luepke struck out 10 in the victory as the Rockets (9-9) move on to a regional semifinal Tuesday at Stratford (14-5).
Dom Wichlacz had two RBIs for Spencer.
Colby ends its season with a 5-12 record.
