Stratford wrestling uses eight pins to roll past Nekoosa

STRATFORD – Stratford had eight pins and won three others by forfeit as it rolled to a 75-3 victory over Nekoosa in a nonconference wrestling dual meet Thursday at Stratford High School.

Manny Drexler (113 pounds), Parker West (120), A.J. Schoenfuss (126), Jake Drexler (152), Devin Dennee (160), Trevor Dennee (170), Aiden Hoffman (195) and Dylan Schoenherr (220) all won by pin for the Tigers. Seven of the pins came in the first period of action.

Derek Marten added a technical fall victory at 138 and Karter Stuttgen won by major decision at 106 for Stratford.

Stratford will compete at the Wisconsin Dells Invitational on Saturday at the Chula Vista Dome.
