Marshfield boys hockey shut out by D.C. Everest

MARSHFIELD – J.J. Berdal had a hat trick as D.C. Everest shutout Marshfield 5-0 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey game Thursday at the Marshfield Area Ice Arena.

The Tigers were held to 10 shots on goal, all of which were saved by D.C. Everest goalkeeper Michael Janke.

A.J. Trierweiler had 36 saves in goal for Marshfield (10-11, 1-8 Wisconsin Valley Conference).

Marshfield plays a nonconference game at Lakeland on Friday.
