STRATFORD – The Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League continued play on Sunday, March 17, with eight games in two divisions.
Here is a look at the results:
A Division
*Quality Roofing knocked off Kafka Forestry 84-61. Chris Murphy had 35 points and Lucas Kramer added 23 for Quality Roofing. Ryan Schalow led Kafka with 19 points.
*Nutz Deep II/Stoney Acres Brewery topped Colby 100-86. Tony Schultz had 28 points, Branson Witucki had 25, and Nate Lehman added 24 for Nutz/Stoney Acres. Matthew Karl scored 31 points and Justin Schaefer had 26 for Colby.
*Oil Exchange & Auto Repair ran past Wausau Tech 100-62. Jake Scheppler poured in a league-best 50 points in the win for Oil Exchange. Branden Fecker scored 29 points and Jack Bezlyk had 27 for Wausau Tech.
*Success Realty slipped past Colby Chrysler 72-60. Cain Trunkel had 17 points to lead Success. Kyle Davis scored 21 points for Colby Chrysler.
B Division
*Resource Recovery whipped Lob City 78-37. Kevin Spindler had 22 points for Resource. Nick Stoflet had 15 points to lead Lob City.
*Sauter Rembs Funeral Home edged Wis-Ky 89-83. Mike Riemer had 31 points and Jake Dahlke added 23 for Sauter Rembs. Rob Posteluk led Wis-Ky with 26 points and Keith Clater had 25 points.
*STAR blew past Stratford Sign Company 94-51. Ethan Seubert had a game-high 24 points for STAR. Andrew Bargender topped Stratford Sign with 18 points.
*No Limit beat LJ’s Sport Zone 50-54. Ben Zalizniak had 11 points for No Limit. Tim Hoak and Adam Reno both had nine points for LJ’s.
