Columbus Catholic girls tennis routs Pacelli

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls tennis team routed Stevens Point Pacelli 6-1 in a nonconference match Tuesday at Boson Courts.

The Dons won all six matches in straight sets, losing a total of just 11 games.

Elizabeth Manlick at No. 1 singles and the No. 3 doubles team of Cassidy Schlinsog and Maddy Havican blanked their opponents, winning their respective matches 6-0, 6-0.

The Dons (10-7) close out their regular-season dual meet schedule Thursday against Wisconsin Rapids Assumption. The match starts at 4 p.m. at the Oak Street Courts.

Columbus Catholic will participate in the WIAA Division 2 subsectional on Monday at Fox Cities Racquet Club in Appleton. The meet is hosted by Xavier High School.
