Columbus Catholic boys basketball upends McDonell in Cloverbelt crossover

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team wrapped up its regular season with a 69-57 win over Chippewa Falls McDonell in the fourth-place game of the Cloverbelt Conference crossovers on Thursday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Eden Jacobson had 20 points and Tom Nystrom added 18 points for the Dons, who head into the postseason with a 10-12 record.

Columbus Catholic will host a WIAA Division 5 regional quarterfinal against Rosholt on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

J.D. Bohaty led McDonell (15-7) with 18 points.
