Marshfield has 18 seniors on this year’s team, including a pair of athletes that competed in the WIAA State Track & Field Championships last season.

“The Tigers track and field athletes in the Class of 2020 have faced unique challenges in their high school careers,” Marshfield boys track coach Randy Hartwig said. “With limited outdoor facilities and stadium construction taking place during the previous two seasons, they demonstrated resourcefulness and flexibility to achieve their goals. Soon they will be leaving Marshfield High School, the McKee brothers on missionary work and others attending Mid-State, St. Cloud, Mankato, Madison, La Crosse and other institutes of learning.”

Among this year’s seniors for the Tigers are:

*Joey Goettl competed in the triple jump at the state meet the past two seasons, and also competed in the long jump and the 1,600-meter relay.

*Addison Hill qualified for the 800-meter relay at the state meet last year, and was also a member of the 1,600 relay, along with Goettl, that finished second at the Wisconsin Valley Conference Meet last spring.

*Kyle Tremelling ran the hurdles for the Tigers last year, taking second in the 300 and fourth in the 110 at the WVC Meet.

*Joseph McKee and Joshua McKee are long-distance runners for Marshfield, both of whom competed in the WIAA State Cross Country Meet in the fall.

*Other seniors on the team this season include: Dustin Altman (pole vault), Garrett Holland (pole vault, sprints), Logan Mechler (sprints), Tyler Katzenberger (800, pole vault), Drake White-Bergey (sprints, high jump), Braden Addox Bunker, Bradley Dickinson, Isaac Eberl, Kevin Gleisner, Loic Lehner, Gaven Ronning, Shane Westerhausen, and Elijah Witzel.
