AUBURNDALE – Kaitlyn Kundinger scored 23 points and Annamarie Aue had 15 points to lift the Auburndale girls basketball team to a 59-44 win over Marathon in a Marawood Conference South Division game Friday night at Auburndale High School.

Auburndale pulled out to a 33-23 lead at halftime and held on from there to improve to 11-4 overall and 6-3 in the Marawood South.

Allison Wokatsch led Marathon (7-12, 5-6 Marawood South) with 17 points.

Auburndale hosts Wausau Newman Catholic on Monday, the first of five scheduled games next week to finish its regular season.
