ABBOTSFORD – The Spencer boys basketball team ended its season with a 65-55 loss to Abbotsford in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal Tuesday night at Abbotsford High School.
No. 4 seed Abbotsford (5-17) moves on to a D-4 regional semifinal at No. 1 Edgar (18-2) on Friday. No. 3 Marathon (20-5) will be at No. 2 Athens (18-4) in the other semifinal, with the winners facing off for a regional title on Saturday.
Spencer finishes the season with a 2-19 record.
Cade Faber led Abbotsford with 31 points and 15 rebounds. Spencer statistics were not provided.
