Auburndale wins 11 events at Spencer Track Meet

SPENCER – Auburndale and Columbus Catholic were among the teams competing at the Spencer Track Meet on Tuesday.

Auburndale won 11 events, including three by junior Terrance Cottrell-Roberson, who won the boys 100 meters in 11.50 seconds, the 200 in 23.40 and the long jump with a leap of 20-2¼.

Other even winners for the Eagles were Carl Lundgren in the boys 3,200 (10:52.82), Jesse Fowler in the boys discus (143-4), Jordyn Karl in the girls 300 hurdles (54.00), Mia Meissner in the long jump (15-1), Lilly Hasenohrl in the girls discus (89-5), the boys 1,600 relay (3:46.82), and the girls 1,600 relay (4:25.33) and 3,200 relay (10:37.59).

Columbus Catholic’s Eden Jacobson won the boys 400 meters (54.29) and Emmalee Jicinsky won the girls high jump (4-10). Noah Eckelberg, the lone competitor, won the four wheelchair events in the 400, 800, and 1,600 meters, and the shot put.

Spencer had three victories as Connor Clark won the boys pole vault (10-0) and Leah Zastrow won the girls pole vault (10-6) and 100 hurdles (15.88).
