AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale volleyball team won all three matches at its home quadrangular meet on Thursday at Auburndale High School.
The Eagles defeated Owen-Withee 2-1 (25-16, 21-25, 15-11), Cornell 2-0 (25-21, 25-20), and Elcho 2-0 (25-15, 25-19).
Ashlyn Grimm had 52 assists, 10 service aces and 14 digs, and Josie Ertl had 27 kills, six aces and 14 digs to lead Auburndale.
Marta Almendra added 14 kills, Kimmie Lundgren had 12 digs, and Brianna Weiler had 10 digs for the Eagles.
Auburndale returns to Marawood Conference South Division action at home against Stratford on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The match will be live at zaleskisports.com.
