LOYAL – The Columbus Catholic volleyball team won its second-straight Cloverbelt Conference East Division match to start the schedule with a 3-0 sweep of Loyal.
The Dons won 25-9, 25-10, 25-10, to move to 2-0 in conference play. Loyal is now 0-2.
Dorci Walker had 15 kills, 14 digs and six service aces, and Lily Stratman had 16 assists to lead the Dons.
Courtney Sommer had nine kills, 14 assists and four aces, Izzy Hoglund had 13 digs, Jenna Kibbel added six kills, and Mattea Schlafke had three aces for Columbus Catholic.
Columbus Catholic hosts Owen-Withee in a conference match Thursday at 7:15 p.m. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com. Loyal will host Greenwood on Thursday.
