MARSHFIELD – The Columbus Catholic soccer team continued its dominance of the Central Wisconsin Conference with a 6-1 rout of Northland Lutheran on Monday at Griese Park.

Alex Edwards had a hat trick and Charlie Moore scored twice for the Dons, who are now 8-1-1 overall and 6-0 in the Central Wisconsin Conference.

Moore scored just 2:10 into the game, Edwards scored twice within a span of 50 seconds, and Nathan Nemitz added a goal as the Dons built a 4-0 lead by halftime.

Moore and Edwards scored in the second half to push Columbus Catholic’s lead to 6-0 before Northland Lutheran scored late.

The Dons play at Gresham/Bowler on Thursday.
