Stratford girls basketball drops nonconference game to Bonduel

STRATFORD – Bonduel jumped on Stratford in the first half, racing out to a 24-point lead, and held off the Tigers for a 58-33 victory in a nonconference girls basketball game Monday at Stratford High School.

Bonduel (9-2) led 36-10 at halftime and were able to maintain the big lead the rest of the way.

Brenna Hertzfeld led the Bears with 18 points.

Lauren Kraus had 10 points for Stratford, which falls to 8-6.

Stratford plays a Marawood Conference South Division game at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Thursday. The game will be live at zaleskisports.com.
