Stratford softball throttles Owen-Withee

STRATFORD – The Stratford softball team made quick work of Owen-Withee, blowing past the Blackhawks for a 20-0 win in a three-inning game that was shortened due to the 15-run rule.

Stratford scored three times in the first inning and added 17 more in the second to improve to 4-1 this season.

Ally Zuleger earned the win with three strikeouts in three innings, and also went 3-for-3 with 4 RBI for the Tigers.

Kressa Wenzel added two hits and two RBI, and Kara Schara added two RBI and scored three times for Stratford.

Stratford’s next game is Monday at Spencer.
