Phillips shuts down Stratford softball

PHILLIPS – Phillips put up 10 runs in the first two innings and went on to a 15-2 win over Stratford in a nonconference softball game Friday at Phillips High School.

Stratford was held to three hits in the loss. Emma Roeper had a double and an RBI for the Tigers, who fall to 4-4.

Megan Deleasky hit a home run and drove in three runs for Phillips (9-1).

Stratford hosts Wausau Newman Catholic in a Marawood Conference South Division game Monday at 4:45 p.m.
