Marshfield boys tennis sweeps Wausau East in regular-season finale

WAUSAU – The Marshfield boys tennis team wrapped up its regular-season schedule with a dominating 7-0 win over Wausau East on Tuesday at East High School.

The Tigers won six of the seven matches in straight sets, including two by 6-0, 6-0 scores from No. 2 singles player Josh Grissman and No. 4 singles player Will Jepson.

Marshfield finishes the Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet season with a 4-1 record. The conference tournament will be Thursday at Wausau East High School.
