NEW RICHMOND – The Marshfield girls tennis won one of three matches at the New Richmond Quadrangular on Saturday at New Richmond High School.
The Tigers defeated Superior 5-2, and lost duals to New Richmond and Onalaska by identical 5-2 scores.
Sonia Dissanayaka was a perfect 3-0 for Marshfield at No. 3 singles, winning twice in straight sets.
The Tigers’ No. 1 doubles team of Danielle Minsaas and Sam Ridgway also picked up a pair of wins, as did Payton Koran at No. 4 singles.
Lucy Luedtke at No. 2 singles, and the No. 2 doubles team of Sophia Morrell and Ava Paape also won a match for Marshfield against Superior.
Marshfield will wrap up its Wisconsin Valley Conference regular season with matches at Wausau West on Tuesday and Merrill on Thursday.
