Stratford girls basketball drops home game to unbeaten Crandon

STRATFORD – Undefeated Crandon jumped out to a double-digit lead by halftime and finished off a 57-37 victory over Stratford in a nonconference girls basketball game Tuesday at Stratford High School.

Crandon (8-0) led 30-17 at halftime and outscored the Tigers by seven in the second half to complete the victory.

Lexie Christopherson had 11 points and Lauren Kraus added 10 for Stratford, which drops to 4-3.

Lily Palubicki led Crandon with 16 points.

Stratford plays a Marawood Conference South Division game at Edgar on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
