Davis tosses in 30 points for Spencer girls basketball in loss to Colby

COLBY – Spencer freshman Autumn Davis scored a career-high 30 points but the Rockets dropped a 77-48 decision to Colby in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Thursday night at Colby High School.

Davis made seven 3-pointers and was 5-for-7 at the free throw line for the Rockets, who fall to 2-8 overall and 2-4 in the Cloverbelt East.

Hayden Willner had 15 points and Angelique Hernandez added 12 for Colby (2-9, 2-5 Cloverbelt East).

Spencer will play a nonconference game at Edgar on Tuesday.
