WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Ellie Jensen won the uneven bars and the all-around title to help Marshfield to a second-place finish at the eight-team Charlie Martin Gymnastics Invitational on Saturday at Lincoln High School.
Wisconsin Rapids racked up 132.625 to edge Marshfield by less than one-half point for the meet title as the Tigers ended with 132.15 points.
Jensen won the uneven bars with a score of 8.95 and had an all-around score of 35.275 for the Tigers. She also placed second in the floor exercise (9.025) and third in the balance beam (8.95).
Solenne Lonsdale finished third in the uneven bars (8.85) and Abby Pietsch was fourth in the event (8.35) to also earn top-five finishes for Marshfield.
Marshfield will be back in action Thursday when it hosts its first meet of the season, a dual against Medford beginning at 5:45 p.m.
