Wisconsin Valley Union girls hockey drops two games at Milwaukee tournament

RIVER HILLS – The Wisconsin Valley Union girls hockey team dropped a pair of games at the University School of Milwaukee Invitational over the weekend.

The Union lost to the Lakeshore Lightning 7-0 on Friday and 6-1 to University School of Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon.

Maya Hernandez scored the Union’s only goal Saturday, off assists from Sonia Dissanayake and Sophie Saunders.

Madeline Conner saved 22 shots and Raelee Missner had 11 saves against Lakeshore, and Meissner finished with 30 saves in goal against USM.

Wisconsin Valley (3-10) will play at Hartland Arrowhead on Tuesday.
