MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield gymnastics team set a new program record for a team score as it defeated Medford 139.05-134.025 in a Great Northern Conference Large Division dual meet Thursday at Marshfield High School.

The Tigers, hosting their first home meet of the season, broke the previous program record of 139.025 that was set in Feb. 2020.

Ellie Jensen won the uneven bars (8.85) and the balance beam (9.15) to finish with an all-around score of 36.225 to lead the way for the Tigers.

Phoebe Hernandez tied for first in the floor exercise with a score of 9.2, and Jensen was also second in the vault (9.05) and third in the floor (9.175) for Marshfield.

Marshfield’s next meet is Monday at Stevens Point.
