KRONENWETTER – Sam Casperson nailed three 3-pointers and scored 14 points to lead the Columbus Catholic girls basketball team to a 51-28 nonconference win at Northland Lutheran on Monday night.

Jenna Kibbel added 13 points and Courtney Sommer scored 10 for the Dons, who are now 9-8 this season.

Columbus dominated the first half, pulling out to a 31-12 lead and was able to maintain its big lead the rest of the way.

Brianna Obsuszt had seven points to top Northland Lutheran (4-8).

Columbus Catholic hosts Spencer for a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
