Marshfield girls track grabs four top-10 finishes at UW-Whitewater Indoor Championships

WHITEWATER – The Marshfield girls had four top-10 finishes at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Indoor Track Championships on Saturday.

Dani Minsaas earned a medal by placing fourth in the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 2 inches, for the Tigers’ best finish.

Aubri Brown took seventh in the shot put (38-0) and Michaela Dick was seventh in the 400 (1:01.69), and the Tigers 800 relay team of Ellie Jensen, Alyssa Foemmel, Minsaas and Gracie Ridgway took 10th in 1:51.35.

Alyana Bousum was 14th in the triple jump (33-5¼), and the 1,600 relay team of Ella Allar, Lucy Luedtke, Kaci Abney and Dick took 16th 4:24.04, for Marshfield.

Luke LeMoine had the Marshfield boys top finish, taking 27th in the long jump (19-7.5).

Marshfield will compete at the Wisconsin Valley Conference Indoor Meet on Tuesday at UW-Stevens Point.
