WAUSAU – The Auburndale boys basketball team remains perfect to start the 2010-11 season.
The Apaches improved to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the Marawood Conference South Division with a 59-42 rout of Wausau Newman Catholic on Monday night at Newman.
Newman falls to 1-5 and 1-3 in the Marawood South.
Auburndale will play at the Lakeland Tournament in Minocqua on Dec. 29-30 before returning to Marawood South action Jan. 4 at home against Pittsville.
