AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale volleyball team needed five sets to defeat Iola-Scandinavia 3-2 in a nonconference match Thursday night at Auburndale High School.
The Eagles own 25-27, 25-16, 22-25, 25-19, 15-9.
Lily Bellanti had 15 kills and eight digs, Sidney Wolff added 12 kills, Chesney Nagel had 26 assists and 10 digs, and Maggie Baltus had a team-best 13 digs for Auburndale.
Auburndale hosts its annual invitational on Saturday. Wisconsin Rapids Assumption, Marshfield Columbus Catholic, Iola-Scandinavia, Mosinee, Nekoosa, Stevens Point Pacelli, Spencer, Stratford and Prentice will take part. Play begins at 9 a.m.
