Stratford boys basketball eases past Prentice

STRATFORD – The Stratford boys basketball team made eight 3-pointers and pushed past Prentice 62-45 in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Stratford High School.

Drew Bruesewitz made 8 of 9 free throws and scored a team-high 17 points, Henry Zaleski added 15 points, and and Brady Schmidt drilled four 3-pointers to finish with 12 points for the Tigers, who are now 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Marawood South.

Stratford plays another Marawood crossover game at Athens on Tuesday.
