Undefeated Stevens Point shuts out Marshfield boys hockey

STEVENS POINT – Stevens Point kept its undefeated record intact, limiting Marshfield to just 13 shots on goal and defeating the Tigers 7-0 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey game Thursday night at the K.B. Willett Ice Arena.

Jackson Schroeder had a hat trick for the Panthers, who are now 11-0-1 overall and 8-0 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Stevens Point outshot Marshfield 40-13. Reed Gieseking had 33 saves in goal for the Tigers, who fall to 8-11 overall and 1-5 in conference play.

Marshfield is back in action at home against Wausau West on Thursday, Jan. 18.
