MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team kept its Cloverbelt Conference East Division perfect record intact with an 85-21 rout of Gilman on Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Fourteen of the 15 Dons that saw action in the game found the scoring column as Columbus Catholic improves to 13-1 overall and 7-0 in the Cloverbelt East.

Emmitt Konieczny had four 3-pointers and score 14 points to lead the Dons. Chalrie Moore added 10 points and three players – Mac Konieczny, Nathan Nemitz and Alex Edwards – each had eight. Columbus Catholic shot 17-for-32 from 3-point range in the victory.

Gilman is now 2-11 and 1-6 in conference play.

Columbus Catholic plays at Spencer on Friday at 7:15 p.m. in another Cloverbelt East contest.
