Marshfield Middle School gymnastics wins B Division title at Antigo Invite

ANTIGO – The Marshfield Middle School gymnastics team won the B Division title with a score of 107.9 at the five-team Antigo Invitational on Monday.

The Tigers competed against teams from Antigo, Lakeland, Mosinee and Rhinelander.

Kaylee Fredrick won the uneven bars (9.2) and balance beam (9.7), and Journey Voight took second place in the floor exercise (9.0), vault (9.2) and beam (9.5) to lead the way for Marshfield.

Leeann Luedtke added a second-place finish in the bars (9.1) and Kelsey Wray was third (8.5).

Voight ended up second in the all-around (35.5), Wray was fourth (34.4), Constance Opsal sixth (33.9) and Kaidence Keding eighth (31.8) for the Tigers.

Marshfield’s next meet is next Monday, Feb. 5, at James Williams Middle School in Rhinelander.
