LA CROSSE – Marshfield High School graduate Sean Harrington continued his strong season for the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse track and field team over the past two weekends.
Harrington finished third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:14 to help the Eagles to the team title at the Easter Invitational at Winona State University in Winona, Minn., on April 23.
On Friday, Harrington took ninth in the 10,000 meters at the Gina Relays at Hillsdale (Mich.) College with a time of 30:29. Harrington set a career-best time in the event.
