MARSHFIELD – Akosua Yeboah struck out six to earn the pitching win, and had three hits and two RBI at the plate to lead the Columbus Catholic softball team to an 11-1 win over Neillsville on Thursday at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.

The Dons scored three times in the opening inning and blew it open with a six-run fourth as they went on to win in five innings due to the 10-run rule.

Sam Casperson added two hits and scored twice, and Shelby Spata had a hit and scored three runs for the Dons (8-3, 5-0 Cloverbelt Conference East Division).

Columbus Catholic will be back in action Monday at Auburndale.
