AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale girls basketball team dominated Pittsville from start to finish, winning 44-13 in a Marawood Conference South Division game Thursday night at Auburndale High School.
The Apaches won for the seventh time in their last eight games and improve to 12-5 overall and 8-2 in the Marawood South. Pittsville remains winless in the conference at 0-9 (1-15 overall).
Auburndale returns to action Tuesday at Marathon. Both teams have two losses in the conference.
