MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield girls golf team maintained its lead in the Clover Valley Golf League with a solid second-place finish at the sixth meet of the league tournament on Tuesday at Marshfield Country Club.
Osseo-Fairchild won the meet with a score of 187, just one shot ahead of Marshfield.
Amanda Pederson of Osseo-Fairchild also maintained her lead in the individual standings by winning medalist honors with a 43. Marshfield’s Molly Field shot a 44 to finish second and remains second behind Pederson in the standings.
The Tigers’ other three golfers also placed in the top 10 on their home course. Jordyn Fitzgerald tied for fifth with a 47, Ana Jensen tied for seventh with a 48, and Macy Fitzgerald shot a 49 to tie for 10th.
The final leg of the Clover Valley Golf League is scheduled for Thursday at Eau Claire Country Club.
