Marshfield boys soccer survives in OT over Merrill

MERRILL – The Marshfield boys soccer team got all it could handle from last-place Merrill, but in the end was able to survive and pull out a 3-2 win in overtime on Tuesday.

The Tigers remain in first place in the Wisconsin Valley Conference with a 7-2 record and improve to 12-3-2 overall. Merrill drops to 2-8 and 1-7 in the conference.

Marshfield will compete at the Rhinelander Tournament on Friday and Saturday, then return to WVC action Tuesday at home against D.C. Everest.
