MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Middle School girls swim team won seven of the events but finished third in a triangular meet on Thursday at Marshfield High School.
Wisconsin Rapids Junior High won the meet, with John Muir of Wausau second.
Marshfield’s 200-yard medley relay team of Kaitlin Alberts, Tara Kracht, Courtney Donahue and Alyssa Franks won in 2:11.59 and the foursome also won the 200 freestyle relay in 2:01.34.
Franks went on to win the 200 freestyle (2:14.26), and Alberts took first in both the 50 backstroke (30.16) and 50 breaststroke (37.68).
Hope Risa won two individual events as well for the Tigers, taking first in the 100 IM in 1:12.62 and 50 freeestyle in 29.93.
