MARSHFIED – The Marshfield girls soccer team dropped its regular-season finale 1-0 to Wausau West on Thursday at Griese Park.
The Tigers finish with a 6-12-1 overall record and a 5-7 mark in the Wisconsin Valley Conference, tying Wausau West (6-12 overall) for fourth place.
Wendy Rodriguez had five saves and Andrea Carolfi had two in goal for Marshfield.
Marshfield opens postseason play Thursday, June 1, at Rhinelander in a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal. The game will be at 7 p.m.
