The Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association All-State Team was released following the WIAA State Softball Tournament earlier this month.
Marshfield’s Andie Varsho was named to the first team for the fourth time in her career.
Varsho, a Purdue University recruit, won her fourth Wisconsin Valley Conference batting title after hitting .651 (28-for-43) in conference play. She also led the Valley in doubles with 10, runs scored with 21 and stolen bases with 18.
Varsho competed on the Division 1 Blue Team in the WFSCA Senior All-Star Games in Stevens Point on June 22.
Varsho went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the Blue’s 12-2 win over the Black Team and 0-for-2 in a 12-1 loss to the Red Team.
The Blue Team was coached by Marshfield coach Mike Voss.
No players from Auburndale, Marshfield Columbus Catholic, Stratford or Spencer were selected to the all-state teams.
