Auburndale girls basketball pulls out overtime win at Nekoosa

NEKOOSA – The Auburndale girls basketball team squeezed out a hard-fought 33-31 overtime victory over Nekoosa in a nonconference game Tuesday at Nekoosa High School.

Nekoosa overcame a four-point halftime deficit to force overtime before Auburndale used a 4-2 advantage in the extra period to pull out the win.

Auburndale is now 7-2 after winning its third-straight game.

Hannah Bolder scored 15 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Apaches.

Auburndale hosts Stratford in a Marawood Conference South Division game Friday.
