Stratford boys basketball knocks off Marawood North-leading Rib Lake

RIB LAKE – The Stratford boys basketball team won its third-straight game as it took down Marawood Conference North Division leader Rib Lake 57-40 on the road Friday at Rib Lake High School.

The Tigers rolled out to a 28-15 lead by halftime and were able to finish off the win as they improved to 16-5 overall and 9-4 in the Marawood South.

Brady Schmidt scored 13 points and Henry Zaleski added 11 for Stratford.

Rib Lake drops to 16-5 and 9-4 in the Marawood North.

Stratford is off until next Friday, Feb. 16, when it plays a Marawood South game at Wausau Newman Catholic.
