WAUKESHA – Marshfield senior Alik Martin earned an 11th-place finish in the diving competition at the 2024 WIAA State Boys Swimming & Diving Championships at Waukesha South High School on Saturday.
Martin finished 13th in qualifying with a score of 155.30 and placed 10th in the semifinals with a score of 239.65. In the finals, where the top 16 of the 23 divers competed, Martin finished 11th with a total score of 326.10.
Martin, competing at state for the second year in a row, placed 14th in 2023.
Brady Huettl of Waukesha South/Catholic Memorial won the competition with a score of 481.35.
