MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys track & field team won five events in an indoor dual meet against D.C. Everest on Tuesday at the Fredrick Construction Fieldhouse at Marshfield High School.
Team scores were not kept.
Ethan Knecht won the shot put with a throw of 49 feet, 6½ inches, Keegan Fredrick won the long jump (19-11¼), J.J. Steinbach won the high jump (6-0), Dustin Holland ran to the victory in the mile run (5:36.89), and the 4 x 880-yard relay team of Elijah Bremer, Kashton Kilty, Yael Poissy and Thomas Cashmer won in 9:36.74 for the Tigers.
Marshfield’s final indoor meet of the spring will be the Wisconsin Valley Conference Indoor Meet on April 9 at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
