Marshfield girls tie for fourth, boys finish ninth at De Pere Track Invitational

DE PERE – Emma Ridgway won the girls high jump, which was one of 11 top-four finishes for Marshfield at the Dan Baker Track Invitational on Thursday at De Pere High School.

De Pere won the boys team title with 174 points, with D.C. Everest second with 108. Marshfield was ninth with 32.

Kaukauna took the girls team title with 152.5 points, while Marshfield tied for fourth with Hortonville with 81.5 points.

Ridgway won the girls high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 2 inches, for the Tigers’ lone win at the meet.

Natalie Scharenbroch took second in the girls 800 in 2:28.58, Devyn LeMoine placed second in the girls pole vault (9-6), and Marshfield’s boys 3,200 relay team placed second in 8:43.63.

Adding third-place finishes for Marshfield were the girls 3,200 relay team Lucy Luedtke, Ava Raab, Scharenbroch and Carolina Sullenger (10:36.58), McKenzie Holm in the girls 800 (2:29.32), Olivia Page in the girls 200 (27.10), and Ethan Knecht in the boys shot put (51-11).

Marshfield will host an eight-team invitational on Tuesday starting at 4:30 p.m.
