Columbus Catholic boys golf finishes second at opening Cloverbelt Conference meet

MEDFORD – Stanley-Boyd finished with a score of 202 to win the first Cloverbelt Conference boys golf tournament of the season Thursday at Black River Golf Course.

Marshfield Columbus Catholic finished second with a 211, four strokes in front of Neillsville.

Charlie Moore led the Dons with a nine-hole score of 40, finishing second, two shots in back of Neillsville’s Tucker Johnson.

Kohle Hilgemann tied for fourth with a 50, Keller Bredemann had a 52 and Josh Van Wyhe had a 69 as well for Columbus Catholic.

Columbus Catholic will compete at the second Cloverbelt meet on Tuesday at Meadowview Golf Course in Owen.
