Auburndale softball cruises past Colby/Abbotsford

AUBURNDALE – Auburndale scored multiple runs in all five of its at-bats and rolled to a 12-2 in over Colby/Abbotsford in a nonconference softball game Monday at Auburndale High School.

Mya Krings and Taylor Anderson each had two hits to account for all of Auburndale’s four hits in the victory as the Eagles improve to 7-2 this season.

Auburndale took advantage of 10 walks and three errors in the win.

Sammy Stanton picked up the pitching win, giving up just two fifth-inning runs.

Auburndale will host Stratford for a Marawood Conference South Division game Tuesday at 4:45 p.m.
